Why white?

So, now that I have re-entered society in a weekly role as oppose to my cameo months I have found I'm right back in the middle of the complexity of it all.

As usual, nothing can be said on here for I am so vein I wish to show my pictures off to all my friends and folks in the real world...thus I can't talk about them! Suffice to say I've got plenty of inspiration for writing on the way

hurrah!

As for my pictures, I was looking through a few different artists who through natural (feminine) beauty and super powerful cameras have made some pretty good shots. Thing that got me wondering, most were boardered in white...in fact a lot of people do that and it looks ace...so I'm been thinking, should I boarder my work all in white?

Oh and incase you were wondering, the super sizing of photos when you click full view, that's so you can explore all round the picture in great detail...comments on that would be spiffy too

hrm.. well not -too- super, otherwise the full-view becomes sort of inconveiniant... no larger than 1280x1024 and you're safe

as for the borders, I alternate between thin black 2px inner border with large white 40px border, and thin white with larger black.. it just depends on the color of the image.. one person I've noticed who can change border styles to fit the image is *leliathomas.. a border shouldnt look as if its constraining or ending an image, so much as its framing it and supporting it.. so with a primarily white image I'd use the small black/large white.. like [link]
